What People Say

Most Liked

The highlight at Taqueria San Juanito is undoubtedly the al pastor. Many diners rave about its bold flavors that keep them coming back for more. Large portions make sharing easy, but you’ll probably want to keep the goodness to yourself! The super torta is another fan favorite, packed with a delectable mix of meats including asada and chorizo. Customers also appreciate the accommodating staff who ensure a welcoming atmosphere, even for those who may feel out of place. The quick service means you can enjoy a satisfying meal, even on a tight schedule. And those homemade tortillas? A definite crowd pleaser, especially on weekends when they're freshly prepared on-site.

Most Disliked

While most enjoy the cozy atmosphere, some diners report that peak times can lead to a bustling environment that may feel overcrowded. The parking situation poses challenges, especially on busy weekends, which might deter those driving in. Additionally, the two salsa options have received mixed reviews; some find the green salsa underwhelming compared to the vibrant red. However, the popularity of the restaurant means that some may have to wait longer during rush hours, particularly on Sundays. For those seeking a serene dining experience, visiting during off-peak hours might be the key to fully appreciating the flavors without the frenzy.

Grown up eating from here and never got to make a review; now it is time. Friendly staff who always accommodated my non-Spanish speaking family. The BEST tasting dishes of all varieties. Gorgeous plating and HUGE serving sides, perfect to take home and eat for the next few days. And cheap prices for what is being served to us! I will always eat here when I’m home and am scared of trying new places due to how great the food is at San Juanito’s.

Amazing. I love a soft burrito with plenty of steak. That’s what they gave. Horchata was so good. Also gave extra rice veggies and tortillas 🙏

Got the ranchera super torta that was exactly as described a SUPER torta. It was huge I ate half of it and the rest the next day. You can share it. The ranchera has a little bit of everything asada, Al pastor and chorizo. The service was good. All the staff was super friendly and quick to take our order. We needed more time but they still checked on us multiple times. When we were finally ready Janet answered all our questions. The red salsa was really good if you like spicy. Green didn’t really have much flavor or heat but it was okay. The pico de gallo or salsa not sure was good too. We got 2 rounds of chips. The agua de jamaica was not that sweet which was perfect. They asked us if we wanted ice or not which not a lot of places ask they just assume. Overall, our experience was great. Service was good. Atmosphere was cute - they have it decorated nice and the front window is open. They also have outside seats. They seemed really busy. Parking is street parking pay to park. Definitely give it a try. We went because passing by it smelled good.

Beautiful place dressed for Christmas, love that they get festive. Food is always delish! I think their best taco is the Al Pastor😋😋

Our favorite neighborhood Mexican Restaurant! We celebrate our special days here, go here casually and professionally, and I brought my students here to enjoy their food! Family, friends, and colleagues alike will love it! Mine do! Going to go for breakfast right now!🫶🏾🙌🏾💪🏾😂 On weekends a lady makes homemade tortillas in the larger room and often musicians visit ( please tip them because that is a great gift). Please tip the servers as well because they are hard workers and great service! Love San Juanitos! We’re regulars!
